Use this 4-digit 7 segment display module to display anything from time, distances, weights, battery level, thermistor values or any other information requiring some sort of basic output to the user. Justhaving this 7-segment display at hand allows you to also easily debug your device by displaying values during runtime without requiring a serial port connection.
A 4-digit 7-segment display module is a device that consists of four 7-segment LED displays, which are a series of LED lights arranged in the shape of the digits 0 through 9. The TM1637 is a driver IC that is commonly used to control the 4-digit 7-segment display modules. It can drive up to four 7-segment LED displays and includes a built-in clock and data latch to simplify the interface with a microcontroller. The TM1637 can be controlled using a simple serial interface, making it easy to integrate into a variety of electronic systems. It is typically used to display numerical data in a variety of electronic devices, such as clocks, digital thermometers, and electronic scales.
This module is extremely easy to use and flexible.
